BLACK ROOM ORCHESTRA (Electro/Jazz/rock) present their first eponymous album

Between jazz and rock, through classical music, Black Room Orchestra takes us to different universes throughout the album, reminding us of the sounds of an era rocked by detective and science fiction films and series, or thrillers.

ABOUT THE ALBUM

For their eponymous debut album, Black Room Orchestra takes you to the edge of a dark and melancholy universe, judiciously mixing incisive and powerful pieces with heavy synthesizers. Some more haunting titles without complex integrate broad symphonic flights.

Like a journey through electro music, the album, through its musical diversity, transports its listener to a parallel world. As in a movie, the album is conceived as 10 different atmospheres, ten stories without words which reveal a singular atmosphere.

Between Woodkid and Stranger Things, the group is positioned in the same wave. A true sound painting, the Toulouse project aims to be engaging and ambitious, epic and melodious.

ABOUT THE ARTISTS

Black Room Orchestra is an electro music group formed by two Toulouse composers. Coming from the techno scene for more than fifteen years, the group was born out of a common desire to open up to a wider, more symphonic palette of sounds, with a more marked melodic imprint. No lyrics for the Black Room, synthesizers and techno beats have made their mark throughout their journey. Inspired by various musical universes at the crossroads of rock and original soundtracks from the 70s and 90s, Black Room Orchestra has appropriated these varied atmospheres while integrating their “electronic” and “dark” vision, creating music with the both the power for the live scene and the depth for the listening.
